In spring 2023, I worked as a storyteller on Outer Circle Arts' Museum of Me project in Cheylesmore, Coventry. I worked with five community members, from school children to retirees, to create a museum about their lives. I interviewed each of them three times and then wrote eleven short stories about their lives which accompanied a museum of their objects, which I support a curator in choosing. I was responsible for writing Sandra, Yousef, Ashley, Danny and Caroline's museums.
The Museum of Me and all creative work within it is intellectual property of Outer Circle Arts. It is displayed here simply as a means of advertising my creative writing services.
Museum of Me
I like England because it is so diverse. I really like London to visit but I like living in Cheylesmore because there aren’t too many people. People from my school are from lots of different countries - my friend Jan is from Poland. Mum thinks I seem more English than my family sometimes because I don’t say what I’m thinking about people straight away!
