Storytelling
Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do, from meeting my friends for a cup of tea and a catch up after work, to sharing my poems at open mic nights! Although festival storytelling has been a recent addition to my practice, it has quickly become one of my favourite things to do! My stories are original, interactive and educational, often using the fantastical to facilitate learning about climate change and sustainability.

My stories can be delivered on their own or in collaboration with a musical artist, depending on the budget and size of the festival. I also offer a bespoke story service through which I write an original story based on the themes, place or people at your event, as well as delivering it.
I have run storytelling sessions for Northfield Arts Forum, the Glue Collective, the Friends of Selly Oak Park, the National Trust and Windswept Workshops.

There was a rustle. And a bustle. And a hustle. There was a hoot. And a toot. And a snoot. There was a buzz and a whuzz and a fuzz. And, as he walked further, a thick fog descended on the forest. The middle son suddenly felt very bored and very sleepy. He lay down at the top of a hill at the edge of a clearing for a little snooze. While he was snoozing, he rolled down the hill like a big, hairy log and landed in a sticky, smelly bog!
